  3. Comprehend the ability to conduct research on disability-related issues.

  5. Comprehend cross-cultural disability research through readings in a foreign language.

Course DescriptionIn this course, the relation amon sociology and disability will be mentioned. It will not be determined medically bur from s socio-cultural point of view. It will be discussed theoretically. It will be discussed in relation with some other crucial spcial concepts: childhood, adulthood,elderliness, gender, work life..etc. The aim is to donate students with the ability to make research and analyze from a sociological point of view.
