Course Description

Elements of vocabulary (vocabulary/ basic words, idioms, proverbs, redublications, terms, stereotyped words), vocabulary of text recipient and producer; word frequency and prevalence; vocabulary learning strategies; vocabulary teaching techniques.

3^rd Week	Root-addition concepts, types of root and suffixes, inflexional suffixes, derivational suffixes

5^th Week	Turkish vocabulary elements
6^th Week	Vocabulary frequency and prevalence
7^th Week	Vocabulary types and context
8^th Week	Midterm exam
9^th Week	Vocabulary teaching strategies, methods and techniques
10^th Week	Vocabulary teaching strategies, methods and techniques practices
11^th Week	Word groups
12^th Week	Word groups
13^th Week	Creative, aesthetic words and word groups analysis
