At the end of this course, the students;

  1. Create a lesson / activity plan in accordance with the curriculum,
  2. Apply the lesson / activity plan developed in accordance with the curriculum,
  3. Evaluate the teaching tools and materials that can be used in accordance with the lesson / activity plan,
  4. Prepare teaching tools and materials that can be used in accordance with the lesson / activity plan,
  5. Create learning environments suitable for the lesson / activity plan and the developmental characteristics of the target audience,
  6. Select appropriate measurement and evaluation tools for the course / activities,
  7. Use measurement and evaluation tools appropriate to the lesson / activities.

Course DescriptionMaking observations related to field-specific teaching methods and techniques; making individual and group micro-teaching applications using field-specific special teaching methods and techniques; developing field-specific activities and materials; preparing teaching environments, managing the classroom, measuring, evaluating and reflecting. Within the scope of the course, it is aimed to enable pre-service teachers to observe and gain experience in a public and / or private education institution affiliated to the Ministry of National Education; to share these observations and experiences with practice instructors and other practice students; to evaluate the teaching process in their special teaching area with all its elements (goal, content, learning-teaching process, measurement-evaluation) in a real learning environment.
Course Contents
WEEK TOPICS
1st Week Formation and announcement of teaching practice practice groups, meeting with the practice instructor and practice students at the faculty, introduction of the syllabus and information about practice/observation activities.
2nd Week Meeting with the school implementation coordinator and the implementation teacher at the implementation institution, planning the implementation process and starting the observation process.
3rd Week Evaluating the observations and practices in the practicum institution, providing feedback. Starting to create lesson/activity plans in line with the needs based on the observations and evaluations in the practicum institution.
4th Week Evaluation of observations and practices in the practicum institution, providing feedback. Evaluation of the lesson/activity plans created with micro-teaching practices, providing self- and peer feedback, planning the relevant arrangements to be made in line with the feedback.
5th Week Evaluating the observations and practices in the practicum institution, providing feedback. Finalizing the lesson/activity plan, completing the necessary preparations for the implementation of the lesson/activity plan.
6th Week Sharing observations and evaluations of the implemented lesson/activity plan and making plans for future implementations.
7th Week Evaluation of observations and practices in the practicum institution, providing feedback. Starting to create lesson/activity plans.
8th Week Evaluation of observations and practices in the practicum institution, providing feedback. Evaluation of the lesson/activity plans created with micro-teaching practices, providing self- and peer feedback, planning the relevant arrangements to be made in line with the feedback.

14th Week Sharing observations and evaluations regarding the implemented lesson/activity plan. Sharing observations and evaluations on the implementation process
