At the end of this course, the students;

  1. Identify emotional awareness, self-regulation, and empathy skills.
  2. Develop self-knowledge and self-awareness skills.
  3. Demonstrate appropriate behavior in group interactions and group dynamics.
  4. Use effective communication skills in collaboration and role-taking processes.
  5. Participate in experiential learning processes through play, drama, and creative activities.

Course DescriptionWithin the scope of this course, students will acquire knowledge about fundamental concepts related to the process of self-recognition and the development of self-awareness, emotional awareness, self-regulation and empathy skills, group interaction and collaboration processes, group dynamics, role-taking, and communication skills. Additionally, through experiential learning practices supported by games, drama, and creative activities, they will experience and learn how to support their personal development, communicate effectively within a group, and enhance their social-emotional skills.

3rd Week Getting to know each other and problem-solving activities and evaluation

6th Week We see but do not hear / Developing empathy and understanding others
7th Week Communication / Active listening and self-expression
8th Week Midterm exam
9th Week What we choose & what we leave out / Becoming aware of the social atom
10th Week Opposites and untouchable taboos / Developing empathy toward different identities; Communication barriers and their solutions
11th Week Meeting of the Angers / Developing awareness about ourselves and others
