Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, the students;

Gain knowledge about the sounds, symbols used in the language and how they come together.
Have knowledge about the characteristics of children with language delays and language disorders and the programs implemented.
Express the language development stages of preschool children.
Develop activities to organize appropriate environments and provide stimuli to support the child's language development process.

Course Description

At the end of this course, students will learn language development and its stages, views on language acquisition, physiological basis of language and speech, Concept development by age, approaches to concept development, classification of concepts, the place, organization and arrangement of concepts in the semantic element of language; acquire skills in relation to concept and language development, evaluation.
