Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, the students;

  1. Evaluates the morphological structure of CNS
  2. Evaluates the pathways of CNS related with physiology
  3. Evaluates the lesions of CNS rekated with anatomy
Mode of DeliveryFace to face
PrerequisitesNo
Recommended Optional Programme ComponentsNone
Course DescriptionThe course reviews the macroscopic and microscopic structure of the central nervous system, its blood supply and venous drainage and the meninges. Then determines the main nervous pathways connecting the different structures of the nervous system on a functional base. The major lesions related with the pathways, nuclei, motor and sensory areas of the cerebral cortex and those of cranial nerves will also be studied.
