Course DescriptionThe course aims to help students develop an awareness of the ethical principles of the counseling profession, ethical issues, ethical decision-making, and the major challenges of the counseling profession in our country, as well as to foster their ability to make ethical decisions.

4th Week The Counselor as an Individual and as a Professional
5th Week Values and the Helping Relationship
6th Week Ethical Dilemma Analysis (Group Work)
7th Week Client Rights and Counselor Responsibilities

9th Week Confidentiality, Ethical and Legal Issues: Confidentiality, Duty to Warn and Protect, Protecting Children from Harm
