At the end of this course, the students;
- Explain the physical, hydraulic, and mechanical properties of soils and the factors influencing these properties,
- Identify soil parameters required for solving engineering and environmental problems,
- Evaluate soil behavior under different loading and environmental conditions using geotechnical principles,
- Select and interpret appropriate engineering parameters for geotechnical design and analysis.
