| Course Description | This course includes the fact that the Balkans and Macedonia are the second homeland of the Turks together with Anatolia, where they settled after Central Asia, which is the old homeland of the Turks, and that the Hun Turks settled in Macedonia (around Vardar, Aegean and Pirin) and a Macedonian Turkishness of about 16 centuries has come to the present day. In addition to these, it is mentioned that the states and rulers who want to own the world always use the Balkan geography as a transit place. While Alexander the Great, on his journey through the Balkans to establish his world empire, passed through Anatolia to Africa and Asia, the reasons why the Romans were able to reach Asia by passing from the Mediterranean and the Balkans to Anatolia are emphasized. In addition, while the Crusades of the Christians headed towards Anatolia and the Middle East through the Balkans, the reasons and consequences of the Ottoman Empire reaching its golden age with its conquests in Europe through the Balkans are examined. In addition to all these, it includes the answer to the question of why the Balkans are called the deadlock and laboratory of History. |
