At the end of this course, the students;

Describes the clinical features of diseases and syndromes commonly encountered in at-risk infants and children.
Knows physiotherapy targets and evaluation methods specific to diseases encountered in the pediatric population.
Plans and implements family education and physiotherapy program.

Course Description

This course, which includes common diseases and syndromes in high-risk babies and childhood, aims to make an appropriate assessment of the clinical process and to gain knowledge and skills about appropriate physiotherapy methods. Additionally, the role of the physiotherapist as part of the multidisciplinary team and the importance of family education are discussed.
