Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, the students;

  1. Will be able to discuss on the morphological structure of the limbs including vessels and nerves, and their relationship with each other.
  2. Will be able to discuss on the anatomical structure and localization of the components of cardiovascular system.
  3. Will be able to evaluate the anatomical structure of the human body and its functions
Mode of DeliveryFace to face
PrerequisitesNo
Recommended Optional Programme ComponentsNone
Course DescriptionBasic knowledge about the morphology of the gastrointestinal, urogenital and endocrine systems. The muscular structure of anterior abdominal wall, bony and muscular structure of pelvic region and perineum, the differences between male and female pelvis are identified related with their functions. Later the course reviews the macroscopic and microscopic structure of the central nervous system, its blood supply and venous drainage and the meninges. Then determines the main nervous pathways connecting the different structures of the nervous system on a functional base. The major lesions related with the pathways, nuclei, motor and sensory areas of the cerebral cortex and those of cranial nerves will also be studied. In addition the course also reviews the morphology of the organs of special sense, related pathways and their lesions.
