Course DescriptionIn this course, the student will comprehend the basic mechanism of neural conduction that forms the basis of information transmission in living things. For this purpose, they will figure out the basic principles of electricity available in the living cell, understand the concepts of membrane potential, action potential, grasp the transmission mechanism in the nerve, and learn potential recording methods from tissues. In addition they will also cover the basic properties of the rays in the electromagnetic wave spectrum, and their interactions with biological matter, and the basic principles of their use in diagnostic and therapeutic applications in medicine.
