Fundamental concepts of education and pedagogy. Aims and functions of education. Educational philosophies and theories. Learning theories and instructional principles. Cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development. Learner characteristics and individual differences. Motivation, communication, and classroom management. Teaching methods and techniques. Principles of assessment and evaluation. Professional ethics in teaching and contemporary approaches to education.
