Course Description

Aim of this course is to introduce documentary with its all different forms and characteristics as well as making the students experience all the production steps of documentary.

1^st Week	Definition and aim of documentary
2^nd Week	Documentary film maker, ethics in documentary, mission and importance
3^rd Week	How to find a subject, process of establishment of a project
4^th Week	Production steps, research, project?s subjet to be determined
5^th Week	Project file; proposition, synopsis, script
6^th Week	Documentary script, narration forms, project research report
7^th Week	Producing
8^th Week	Financing documentary
9^th Week	Production, shooting check list, crew and public relations
10^th Week	Interview, preperation, shooting and after the shooting
11^th Week	Documentary Narration: Camera, camera movements, composition, sound
12^th Week	Shooting status report
13^th Week	Shooting / Editing
14^th Week	Shooting / Editing
