| Course Description | This course introduces students to the fundamentals of game design through tabletop and card games. By applied assignments, students progress through stages of idea development, rule and mechanic design, prototyping, and playtesting. Framed by Serious Games and Games for Change, the course explores how games function as tools for social transformation in education, health, social awareness, and cultural preservation. Students design socially impactful game concepts and present them in the form of a game design document and a prototype. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
