Course DescriptionFashion Photography II is a practice-based course that aims to enable students to visualize their self-designed fashion collections through the language of professional fashion photography. Throughout the course, students approach concept development, visual storytelling, styling planning, location selection, model direction, lighting techniques, and shoot organization from a holistic fashion communication perspective. Building upon the fundamental knowledge of composition, lighting, and visual language acquired in Fashion Photography I, this course advances students' skills and prepares them to present their collections in editorial, lookbook, or campaign formats. Students either photograph their own collections themselves or collaborate with a professional photographer while managing the entire production process. By preparing mood boards, styling sheets, and detailed shooting plans, they gain hands-on experience with the professional fashion photography production workflow.
