Writes and explains basic CNC programs with ISO (G/M) codes.
For CNC turning and vertical machining, it performs manual programming according to technical drawings and uses cycles with appropriate parameters.
In CAM software, it defines setup/stock/tools and generates tool paths with appropriate strategies.
It extracts G-code with a post-processor, verifies NC code, and prepares production documentation.

Course Description
This course introduces the basic principles of computer-aided manufacturing and aims to teach students how to program CNC lathes and vertical machining centers using ISO (G/M) codes. In addition to basic CNC knowledge, the use of standard cycles, and manual programming, the course covers practical applications such as setup/stock/tool definition for parts modeled in CAD using CAM software, toolpath generation, virtual machining, and the creation and transfer of G-codes suitable for CNC machines using a post-processor.
