Course DescriptionThis course covers electronic instrumentation circuits and techniques used in measurement and control systems. The course covers the working principles of sensors and transducers, signal conditioning circuits, filtering, amplification, and analog-to-digital conversion methods. Students learn how various physical quantities (temperature, pressure, light, speed, etc.) are converted into electronic signals, how these signals are processed, and how they are integrated into measurement systems. The structure, accuracy, precision, error analysis, and calibration of modern measurement devices used in industry are also discussed. By the end of the course, students will have gained the ability to design, analyze, and apply electronic measurement systems.
