  1. List the media used in the microbiology laboratory.
  2. Knows and explains the purpose of use of media.
  3. Knows and applies the steps of media preparation, sterilization, quality control and storage conditions.
  4. Knows and applies microbiological preparation and staining methods.

Course DescriptionStudents are aimed to gain knowledge and skills in recognition of the media used in the microbiology laboratory and to know the usage purposes, preparation steps of medias, sterilization, learning of quality control and storage conditions, preparation of microbiological slides, application of dyeing methods.
