| Course Description | In this course, the classification of vectors of medical importance will be made. In the occurrence of vector-borne diseases, biotic (host) and abiotic (climate, ecology) factors will be defined. The mechanical and biological transmission routes of infectious agents to humans by vectors will be described. In addition, students will be informed about viral, bacterial, parasitic infectious agents and the diseases they cause. |
