At the end of this course, the students;
- Recognizes and properly uses tools, equipment, and chemicals used in macroscopic dissection processes in pathology laboratories, adhering to occupational health and safety rules.
- Performs the stages of macroscopic dissection and evaluates various specimen types macroscopically, including endoscopic and needle biopsies.
- Documents and reports findings obtained during macroscopic dissection and completes the process in accordance with the laboratory quality management system.
