Course DescriptionArchaeology is extremely detailed, and it can only be fully studied if scientists limit themselves to specific periods and regions (e.g., the Bronze Age in Anatolia). However, our course is designed for university students who will not be pursuing archaeology as a professional education. It provides the basic concepts of archaeology and presents the archaeological studies and findings in Anatolia in chronological order, starting from approximately 10,000 years ago. Ultimately, the aim is to foster a well-developed general cultural background and awareness of Anatolian archaeological assets among the students taking the course.
