At the end of this course, the students;

  1. Gain knowledge about the development and current structure of the insurance and private pension sectors in Turkiye and worldwide.
  2. Gain theoretical knowledge about life insurance and learn its practical operations.
  3. Learn the actuarial foundations of life insurance.
  4. Gain theoretical knowledge about personal accident insurance and learn its operations in practice.
  5. Become familiar with social security and private pension systems, learning the practical workings of the individual pension system.
  6. Gain theoretical and practical knowledge about health insurance and its operations.
  7. Learn theoretical aspects of agricultural insurance and the workings of the agricultural insurance process.
  8. Acquire theoretical knowledge of liability insurance and gain practical insight into its operations.

Course DescriptionThis course provides an overview of the insurance markets in Turkiye and worldwide, covering various types of insurance, including life, personal accident, social security, retirement, health, agricultural, and liability insurance.
