Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, the students;

  1. Makes the treatment planning by using clinical examination and diagnostic techniques and ensure the endodontic diagnosis under the supervision of a faculty member.
  2. Performs the appropriate treatment steps for the endodontic treatment plan under supervision.
  3. Selects the appropriate root canal instrument by knowing the root canal anatomy.
  4. Implements the pulp and periapical tissue diseases and their treatment methods under supervision.
  5. Implements the retreatment of root canal treatment under supervision.
  6. Selects and apply the most appropriate anesthetic solution considering the patient's systemic disease.
  7. Provides decontamination, disinfection, sterilization and antisepsis during endodontic treatment.
  8. Writes a prescription for prophylaxis, pain control.

Course DescriptionThis course reviews the basic knowledge in endodontics and endodontic curriculum in preparation for graduation.
