Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, the students;

In this course, basic concepts and principles of medical criminal law will be examined, the term of crime will be studied by separating it into it?s elements and conditions of lawful medical intervention will be evaluated. Within the scope of this course, medical interventions and legal provisions about these type of interventions which have special value by their nature within the context will be scrutinized, some of the crimes that are legislated in Turkish Penal Code will be examined in terms of medical criminal law. The course content will benefit from the books General Provisions of Criminal Law and Special Provisions of Criminal Law, thesis written in the field, monographs, articles and Supreme Court decisions.

In this course, basic principles of medical criminal law and some types of crimes related to medical criminal law will be examined and process of criminal procedure will be studied.
