At the end of this course, the students;
- The aim of this course is for students to learn the fundamental concepts of insurance law and to gain a general understanding of liability insurance, which is a type of indemnity insurance. Within this framework, students will acquire comprehensive knowledge regarding the legal nature, parties, elements, scope, and rights and obligations of the parties to the insurance contract concluded under the
?Physician's Compulsory Professional Liability Insurance,? a mandatory liability insurance. Finally, the course will explain the relevant positive legal regulations concerning the compulsory professional liability insurance for physicians, with a
particular focus on the Regulation on Procedures and Principles Regarding Institutional Contribution in the Compulsory Professional Liability Insurance for
Medical Malpractice.
