At the end of this course, the students;

  1. Learn extracellular and intracellular regulators of cell cycle.
  2. Learn phases of cell cycle and checkpoints.
  3. Understand programmed cell death and its control mechanisms.
  4. Discuss progression of cell cycle and death in relation to different pathological conditions.
Mode of DeliveryFace to face
PrerequisitesNo
Recommended Optional Programme ComponentsNone
Course DescriptionIn this course genetic mechanisms of cell cycle regulation in different cell types, in differentiation and pathophysiological conditions will be covered. Students are expected to understand cell specific molecular control mechanisms at all levels.
