Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, the students;

  1. know the mechanisms of DNA replication
  2. know the mechanisms of DNA recombination
  3. know the mechanisms of DNA transcription
  4. know the mechanisms of transilation
  5. know the mechanisms association with DNA rearrangements
  6. know the mechanisms association with regulation of gene expression
Mode of DeliveryFace to face
PrerequisitesNo
Recommended Optional Programme Components
Course DescriptionThe students are expected to gain the basic knowledge of genetic principles and their underlying mechanisms at the molecular, cellular, organism levels. The course deals with processes in molecular genetics; including the structure of DNA, mechanisms of DNA replication, transcription, translation, and gene expression regulation as well as genome structure and stability.
