At the end of this course, the students;

  1. Distinguish the situations that require the quantitative research method to be followed.
  2. Formulate research by following the quantitative research method.
  3. Compare different quantitative research designs.
  4. Collect data by using quantitative research techniques suitable for the research problem.
  5. Make inferences and predictions by analyzing the data to be used in the reporting of the field research.
  6. Act in accordance with both research and publication ethics during the research process.

Course DescriptionAt the end of this course, it is aimed that students will have knowledge about the importance of research in social sciences, how the design process of a research takes place and quantitative research methods, and to experience the scientific research process practically through a research project. Within the scope of this course, students will be able to prepare a quantitative research proposal in a subject and have knowledge of the basic analyzes that will be included in the final report of the field research.
