Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, the students;

Recognize all literatures in which the concepts of culture, identity and politics are used.
Analyze domestic and foreign research on the concepts of culture, identity and politics.
Gain knowledge to understand the chronological debates on the formation, development and continuity processes of the concepts of culture, identity and politics.
To be able to conduct researches and make analyze in sociological fields including the concepts of culture, identity and politics...etc.
Redefine the concepts of culture, identity and politics in everyday life and discusses their interrelations in a clear, objective and coherent manner.

The effects of culture and politics in the formation of social identity will be discussed and the change of the concept of identity in new social transformations will be examined.
