The course then examines the organization of vocabulary in school dictionaries and the information required at the beginning of an entry, with examples. The course aims to teach students the fundamental principles of lexicography, enable them to critically examine dictionaries, identify omissions, inaccuracies, and inconsistencies, and provide them with a concept of how to create dictionary entries and access lexical information.
