Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, the students;

Explains the function and importance of elementary school textbooks within the education system.
Analyzes the fundamental features of a textbook in relation to the components of the curriculum.
Evaluates elementary school textbooks critically based on criteria identified in the relevant literature
Explains the essential characteristics that should be included in the sections of a textbook and provides justifications for them
Assesses different sections of a textbook according to predetermined criteria, drawing on the various components of the curriculum for the relevant course.
