At the end of this course, the students;

  1. Define the concept of mathematics learning loss at primary school level.
  2. Identify appropriate assessment tools to identify mathematics learning disabilities in primary school students.
  3. Analyze the data collected to assess learning disabilities.
  4. Develop appropriate teaching strategies for different learning loss situations.
  5. Evaluate strategies to prevent and compensate for learning losses in terms of theory and practice.
  6. Plan instructional activities that support the permanent learning of mathematical concepts.
  7. Criticize intervention processes for compensating learning losses in terms of ethical, cultural and pedagogical dimensions.
