At the end of this course, the students;
- You will be able to define the concept and terminology of occupational health and safety.
- Will be able to evaluate the perception of occupational health and safety and know the basic objectives of occupational health and safety
- Explain the general overview of occupational health and safety and have knowledge about occupational safety legislation, its historical development and its development in Turkey.
- You will gain information about the basic OHS information and safety culture that will be required in working life.
- Will be able to know national and international organizations in OHS and understand their importance in working life.
- Know the causes of work accidents and occupational diseases, personal protective equipment and protection methods
- Will be able to identify risks and hazards in business life and understand the basis and necessity of risk assessment.
- Have knowledge about emergencies and precautions to be taken in emergencies, emergency plans and emergency management.
