Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, the students;

  1. Understand the importance of fire and the need to consider it as an input from the design phase.
  2. Gain knowledge about active and passive fire safety methods.
  3. Become aware of fire safety legislation in our country and around the world, and develop project evaluation skills in accordance with our country's legislation.
  4. Possess the knowledge to apply escape route design principles in their projects, creating solutions that ensure the safe evacuation of people from buildings.
  5. Gain knowledge about escape route and building evacuation modeling programs. Learn that these programs can be used as a monitoring tool.
