Course Description

Ancient Greece, Middle Ages, Renaissance and Baroque periods: historical and cultural context, composers and styles. Examination and discussion on selected works.

3^rd Week	Fundamental principles of music (3) / The Middle Ages and the development of Gregorian chant, liturgical roles of music / Gregorian chant; Religious music-drama
