  2. Analyze the works of the period Tanzimat II. with their socio-cultural and literary values.
  3. Examine the different genres written in the Tanzimat II. period.
  4. Discuss the works of the Tanzimat II. period conceptually.

Course DescriptionThe projection of the modernization process, which turned into a systematic movement during the Tanzimat period, in literature will be discussed; the works of the writers and poets who shaped the period will be discussed by creating a historical background.
