At the end of this course, the students;
- Know basic principles and concepts of Occupational Safety and Health
- Learn the historical and recent development of OSH in Turkey and around the world
- Knowledge about the major national and international institutions in OSH and their roles
- Knowledge about legal norms and signed articles in OSH
- Learn safety culture, its contents and steps to be taken for implementing safety culture
- Know hazards, risks and risk factors and preventative measures to mitigate these factors
- Learn workplace accidents and accident investigation techniques
- Learn principles of planning and executing OSH management and OSH training at the workplace
