Course Description

The aims of this course are to explain the models of geriatric care, alternative care approaches in healthcare organizations and organization and management of homecare.

2^nd Week	The old profile, healthy aging, important of home elderly care servises in the World and Turkey
3^rd Week	The role of the physician in home healthcare
4^th Week	Infection control in the home environment
5^th Week	Applications of elderly individual cleaning
6^th Week	Nutrition, drug and fluid therapy of elderly people at home
7^th Week	Home monitorin of elderly people with hypertension
8^th Week	Midterm exam
9^th Week	Respirotary support and home care of elderly people who have Chronic Obstrüktif Lug Disease
10^th Week	Home care of the elderly individual who have hearth disease and failure
11^th Week	Home care of the elderly individual who have pain
12^th Week	Home Care of the elderly individual with incontinence
