Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, the students;

  1. explain the effects of genetic/genomic regulations on pharmacokinetic and/or pharmacodynamics processes, and discuss their clinical relevance
  2. list and explain the roles of pharmacogenetic factors on the process of rational pharmacotherapy
Mode of DeliveryFace to face
PrerequisitesNo
Recommended Optional Programme Components
Course DescriptionAn elective course to accomplish a comprehensive understanding of genomic regulation and hereditary information transfer to provide better competency in the areas of pharmacogenetics and pharmacogenomics, and of recognizing the mechanisms and clinical relevance of the interaction between drugs and genomic regulation
